Bug fixing begins with reproduction
A useful bug report explains what should happen, what actually happens, which users or records are affected, and whether the problem can be reproduced. Logs, screenshots, error messages and a staging environment can significantly reduce diagnostic uncertainty.
Problems we can review
Broken workflows
Forms, transactions, approvals or actions that no longer complete correctly.
Upgrade problems
Issues after framework, PHP, package, browser or vendor updates.
Performance
Slow database queries, heavy endpoints, oversized assets and inefficient application paths.
Integration failures
Webhooks, APIs, payments or external services behaving inconsistently.
Permissions
Users seeing, changing or being blocked from the wrong data/actions.
Frontend defects
JavaScript errors, responsive breakage and browser-specific issues.
Exploratory debugging is different from a known modification
If a fault has an unknown cause, the work may need a capped diagnostic stage before a fixed repair quote can be produced. We do not pretend an unknown defect has a precise implementation price before enough evidence exists.
Performance changes need measurement
Where performance is the goal, the project should define what is slow and how improvement will be measured—for example a specific page, query, import, report or API operation. That gives the project a verifiable target.
